PAPUA NEW GUINEA - MARCH 10: Members of the Meakambut tribe gather around the campfire for sago pancakes in Papua New Guinea on March 10, 2009. Making an edible product from sago palm is a arduous process. Men peel the bark away from the tree, revealing the pith inside which is gathered by the women, then washed and strained, so that the starch runs out and collects in a paste type flour which they will cook into a flat bread. This is their primary source of food. (Photo by Amy Toensing)
