ASBURY PARK, NJ - SEPTEMBER 15: A Canada Goose takes off from Deal Lake September 15, 2003 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Deal lake is a shallow body of water that is very close to the Atlantic Ocean and runs through Asbury park and several small towns: Interlaken, Deal, Loch Arbor, Allenhurst and Wanamassa. Surrounded with Private Homes and trees around much of its shoreline. Deal Lake is the largest lake in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and is one of the largest lakes in New Jersey, occupying 158 acres. It drains into the Atlantic Ocean. The Jersey Shore, a 127 mile stretch of coastline known for its variety of beaches, boardwalks, small towns, natural beauty and summer crowds, has been a popular summer destination for over a century.
